Exterior

The Kia EV9 has a real presence on the road with its wide stance and bold front design incorporating the new daytime running light design. ‘Air’, ‘GT-Line’ and ‘GT-Line S’ will have different front and rear bumpers with different diffuser and light designs. The Kia EV9 will also be available with new exterior colours, including Shadow Grey, Lithium Silver, and Pacific Blue.

Range

The EV9 ‘Air’ will be available with the 201bhp rear-wheel-drive single motor with a range of up to 326 miles on a single charge. ‘GT-Line’ and ‘GT-Line S’ models will be available with the 378bhp all-wheel-drive dual motor with a range of up to 308 miles on a single charge. All models can be charged from 10%-80% in just 24 minutes. In order to achieve the maximum charging speed, EV9 must use an 800-volt electric vehicle charger that delivers at least 240kW. Actual charging speed and charging time may be influenced by the battery temperature and weather conditions. Range figures are determined according to the standardized EU measurement procedure (WLTP). Individual driving style and other factors, such as speed, outside temperature, topography, and the use of electricity-consuming devices/units, have an influence on the real-life range and can possibly reduce it.

Interior

The interior of the Kia EV9 provides a spacious and comfortable experience for the driver and passengers. The interior features Kia’s ’10 must-have sustainability items’, defining a baseline for the use of sustainable materials in all future Kia models. Sustainable materials have been used across different parts of the cabin, including the dashboard, centre console, door trims and carpets. Below the navigation touchscreen, we have used hidden buttons with a haptic feedback function which provides a clean and elegant look. The centre console has increased usability due to the Eshift column gear selector being moved to the steering wheel, creating additional space for the driver and passengers. 

GT-Line S will feature a 14-Speaker Meridian Premium Sound System with unique acoustic Sound Design Technology. Features of this premium sound system include sound quality correction by speed, cabin sound optimisation and surround music.
