In general, they were very helpful. I would recommend especially the chaps who attended to me today and on the initial service appointment. However, there was one lady in the service reception desk that spoke to me rudely like I’m an idiot. I don’t know much about electronics on the cars so I wanted to make sure everything was fine before I go as I don’t want to come back again. To that lady, at some point in your life you might also need my services. I will not forget how rude you were but I will treat you with dignity and respect. I just hope it was just a one-off and you treat your other customers politely.

I've had a wonderful experience getting my first new car. The customer service was absolutely unmatched. I had a bad experience with the dealership closest to me before, so I reached out to multiple others and I preferred to communicate mostly via email. The only one coming back to me in a reasonable time, with perfect professionalism was Kieran, from EMG Kia Cambridge. Outstanding Service from EMG Cambridge In January 2025, we encountered an issue with our car that meant it had to be left overnight. Thankfully, EMG Cambridge was quick to offer us a brand-new car from their fleet. Unfortunately, that car also broke down. However, Jordan from EMG Cambridge truly went above and beyond in making a stressful situation that much easier for us. From the moment we had the issue, Jordan was incredibly proactive. She checked in on us during the evening and took care of all the paperwork related to our car's repairs the next day. Even when she was away at training, Jordan ensured the broken-down car was towed back and kept us in the loop with clear and consistent communication. Her dedication and customer care were exceptional. Jordan truly stepped up when we needed her most, and I can’t thank her enough for her help. I was looking for a small car to replace my 16 year old Nissan Micra, and was test driving all new small cars. When I entered the Kia garage in Cambridge I was greeted by Pedro who had a smiling face and who listened and showed me around all of the models relevant to my requirements. I had a test drive and explained that I still wanted to look at other makes to ensure that I had made the correct decision. Pedro understood and gave me a card to contact him if there were any other questions. A few weeks later I was back and once again Pedro greeted me and discussed with me my requirements without being condescending, he once again listened and went on to discuss which make and model would be right for me. He patiently went through all of the options on make and finance until I was confidant of my choice. I picked up my new car today! I bought a used Kia Ceed six months ago. I do a fair number of miles (approx. 20k per year) and the car has been great -- no issues at all! Buying the car from EMG is one of the best car-buying experiences I've had -- the staff were fantastic, and the test drive was very helpful and the staff made sure to genuinely address all of my questions. Even though I was buying a car towards the bottom of their range, they made me feel as if they had all the time in the world to help me. I was helped by Pedro, who came into sales from being a mechanic and so was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Pedro also knew the previous owner of the vehicle, which was very reassuring. The showroom was a very nice environment and had a good range of vehicles to see. Overall I would highly recommend the staff and experience of buying a car from EMG.

Grant invited me to the launch event and subsequently arranged a test drive and demonstrated all the main features of the vehicle. I placed my order and the car was delivered on the agreed date. I always judge a business by how they handle problems rather than how they manage day to day. Chris in used sales was very helpful when I came across a minor issue with the car and worked hard to resolve the issue for me. Karen Thompson (review) - The sales team were very friendly and bent over backwards for a sale, however we weren't happy with the following and it could have gone a lot smoother. We booked a time a day to view a Kia Sorento, which turned out to be a sales managers demonstrator. My husband is a perfectionist when it comes to cars, but on viewing this vehicle even I was disappointed at the state of it. It was filthy inside and out, which my husband was not happy with and neither would any potential customer. I spoke to the sales manager and explained how disappointed we were that it hadnt been cleaned prior to our arrival. He asked if we had booked an appointment to which I replied "YES". He apologised and to sweeten the deal said he would provide us with a full tank of fuel if we decided to buy the vehicle. I asked if the car could be valeted so we could return and view it a nicer condition. It was agreed. So we returned 2 days later and on inspection agreed to buy it. Day of collection. As part of the order we asked that a towbar be fitted. We arrived and saw the vehicle. It looked lovely. We went round and inspected it and noticed that the towbar hadnt been fitted, the front passenger and rear passenger mats were missing and someone had dinged the vehicle on the rear offside passenger door. The sales manager asked it he were happy. Answer "NO" and explained why. Manager went away and after some long quiet conversations explained that the towbar was on back order (we didn't get told) and new mates would be placed in the vehicle. My husband asked about the ding and it was agreed that this would be sorted out when we returned to have the towbar fitted. We signed the paperwork and asked if it had a full tank as promised. The salesman went over to the vehicle and the look on his face was "OH BUGGER, NO FUEL". We stupidly agreed to pay for the fuel and would have it reimbursed, which to date it hasn't. Overall the car is lovely, communication could have been a lot better and yes we are somewhat disappointed with our experience compared to the experience we had when we purchased our old Kia Sorento with another Kia dealer, which was fantastic.

Had an amazing experience at Kia Cambridge. It all started on our 1st visit with Kieran who was both attentive and knowledgeable. We visited the showroom again as were unsure of which Sportage model to go for. We were assisted by John and Grant who dealt with us professionally and courteously. There is fantastic teamwork evident at this dealership. Follow up calls are always made when agreed which is quite unusual these days. Cannot recommend highly enough and a special mention again to Kieran, John and Grant...5 out of 5 for each of you ( shame it can't be higher )

I very rarely leave reviews, but this showroom is worthy of note. Excellent service from start to finish. This is my fourth car purchase in general and was the most smoothest experience I've ever had - compared to other dealers I've dealt with in the past. There's no pushy sales tactics here, just a genuine helpful approach to find your next car. Pedro Gomes helped us buy our Kia Sportage GT-Line S and gave us all the information we needed. Any issues we had were sorted out quickly and he catered for all our needs. Subsequent visits to the dealership were necessary and was always welcomed and never waited around. A big thank you to firstly Pedro for his genuine customer service, down to earth approach and assistance with our purchase; and secondly, Julia who also happily assisted us throughout and resolved any concerns we had. Other staff we did see, but did not deal with directly also shared a friendly approach but it wasn't 'forced'. I'll continue to use their services moving forward. Many thanks.

He made sure i had a good test drive, I've been on test drives in the past that are up and down the road, Tony gave me a long drive which meant I was able to drive the car at different speeds and on different road. The only reason I clicked no to taking the car to Cambridge for its service is because the dealer isn't my local EMG garage. Very happy with the car and service.

I bought a used Kia ceed from the Cambridge branch of EMG and the service received has been amazing. It took a little longer than we’d hoped for the car to be ready for pick up but that was due to some cosmetic bits and bobs that I’d asked to be rectified on the car. Everything that I requested to be done on the car has been done and has been finished to an extremely high standard. From the initial visit through to the test drive, purchase, communication and all the way through to the collection of the car the experience has been very friendly and caring. Another positive is that it’s all very relaxed and not pushy whatsoever compared to some car dealers. I would like to say a huge thank you to Pedro, Byron & Angel for a very positive experience and for my new car, definitely all an asset to the company.

The parts counter staff are very helpful, and answer the phone more quickly than the other Mazda dealers around me. They hold a surprising amount of on the shelf stock. Prices on parts are considerably cheaper than Brayley Mazda, my other go-to main dealer. Parts and service counters close at 1pm on Saturdays, which could be more clear on the website. 3* because a few years ago I tried to buy an MX-5, I viewed and test drove one, called several times to buy over the next couple weeks and was not able to get through to someone in sales. I also never received my promised callbacks, so I ended up buying a car from Brayley Mazda MK instead.

Visited EMG Mazda in Cambridge to view an MX5 they had for sale. We were assisted by the salesman Tony who was absoultely fantastic. He took the time to take both me and my partner out on individual test drives, and even after commiting this time did not place any pressure on us to purchase the vehicle. He also took the time to give me a valuation for a part exchange on my current vehicle, and the number provided was very fair compared to other figures I was recieving at the time. In the end we did not purchase a vehicle from EMG Mazda, but our entire experience was absoultely excellent. We recieved a further two calls after our visit from the dealership asking if there was anything further they could help with, which we thought was a nice touch.

From beginning to end, EMG have been fantastic! I had seen a car I wanted to look at so called up and there was no waiting on hold for ages like usual. I spoke to Pedro Gomes who said he would have the car ready for me that afternoon which it was. Test drive went well and Pedro wasn’t pushy at all, just really friendly and happy to answer any questions I had. I decided to buy the car and as promised it was cleaned and valeted and ready to go on the day and time we agreed and all paperwork was ready. Within 30 minutes I was driving home. Emails queries were answered by Pedro quickly and efficiently and nothing was too much trouble. A truly different car buying experience from the norm and I’d definitely recommend them! The only thing was they had forgot to put the towing eye in the boot and flat tyre kit but Jordan said she would post them out to me without delay. Again, can’t recommend enough and Pedro is an asset to the business!

Mazda Service: Mazda have recently seen fit to add in a dedicated Mazda service team into the Group. In my opinion, long overdue as although the service from the previous team wasn’t bad, as Kia specialists you were aware that when you brought a Mazda in, you were not their specialty. A prime example of this would be my most recent interaction, My Mazda had been in for a recall issue and had been addressed by the previous team. Unfortunately the issue returned, Service Manager Jordan and her team not only identified the reason why the issue had come back, but put measures in place to prevent re-occurrence. They also identified issues that should’ve been covered under warranty by the previous team, and fixed those oversights free of charge. Incredible levels of service and I couldn’t be more grateful to Jordan and all of the team that assisted me during this visit. Mazda owners finally have the level of service and presence in Cambridge that we have been sorely lacking, and desperately needing.

Part-exchanged my 12-year old Hyundai i30 for a used Mazda 2 with EMG. The quality of customer service, information and support provided by Adam Hennell was outstanding from first phone contact, personalised video of the car pre-purchase to after sales follow-up. I was offered a competitive price for my trade-in and am very happy with my new car, having just driven it to & from the north west. Price points compared well with similar vehicles (engine size/mileage) available elsewhere and even on-line. I’ll be recommending EMG and using them again myself.

The time had come for my much loved MX-5 RF to be serviced and MOT'd. As ever, greeted by Sales personnel as we made our way to the Service Book - In desk where again greeted appropriately. I had completed the pre visit On-Line Check - in and everything was recorded properly. Previously advised probable completion time of late afternoon confirmed. Correctly advised that Park & Ride time for us "Oldies" (my description) was 9:30am. Whilst waiting decided to have a look round showroom and had a most interesting talk to a Sales person about mild hybrid (particularly on the MX-5). He was knowledgeable (I am sorry but I didn't record his name) and explained how this works on the MX-5. He is to be complimented on his clear description. {I am a Chartered Engineer and do have an Honours Engineering Degree} I had asked for the work to be carried out by Technician "Terry" (advice from previous technician Ian who had looked after my pride and joy since its first service) which again was properly recorded. Tony did a great job. It was fair and honest sale since start. Tony did not record fake videos (like many other dealers do trying to hide issues), he was just honest about the car and its condition. Tony was very polite and tactful giving time to check the car and test drive it. At the end - it took around 1 hour to get all things settled and I drove away same day. 2 weeks later I got car serviced + MOT like was agreed. This is for sure very good and stresless experience.

Recently took my Kia Sportage into Emg Kia Cambridge for a concern with a tyre light and the tyre was appearing to loose pressure. I had no booking and went to see Chris Inns in service reception, I explained what was going on and could the garage help me at all? Not expecting it to be looked at the same day Chris managed to fit me in and get the workshop to fix a leaking valve for me. I want to say a big thank you to Chris for getting this done for me. Had my Kia serviced the other day and was greeted by Chris Inns on arrival .. He welcomed me and I was invited to take a seat at his desk. He went through the process with me and told me how much the service would cost and even offered to wash the car. We agreed a collection time and off to work I went. On return, I met Chris inns again and we went through the invoice and he even took me out to show me where my car was parked and washed. The coffee is awful, but I went there to buy a car, and they were excellent at that. Tom helped us buy a new Kia EV9 and despite the six month wait, he kept us updated on the car's progress and any changes in options available. No pushy sales nonsense, no insincere faff, just genuinely efficient customer service and courtesy.

EMG have looked after my car for as long as they have had the Mazda dealership. They know I'm totally fastidious about my much loved car and I sure the workshop treat the vehicle as if it were their own. Needless to say any special requests I have are always followed. I'm always made to feel welcome and a valued customer by the front of house team. I throughly recommend EMG for Mazda servicing.

EMG service team has been very helpful, efficient and trustworthy. I found Chris very knowledge and he has great experience and it is always a delight speaking with him. I found their system via text/website very informative and convenient, allowing customer to see what items were checked in the vehicle, any associated faults or concerns as well as what has passed and working pretty much in real time. Would recommend to anyone who needs MOT, service or maintenance and repair done.

Thank-you so much EMG, I nursed my broken car to the Milton branch and even though they were fully booked until November Chris Inns worked magic and got it seen so I was able to feel safe. I brought my car from here in 2013 and have brought it back every year for services and MOTs and Chris has always welcome me and ensured that my car has been sorted and nothing is ever too much trouble. Feb 2024 - Being back here this week because my car had a problem which needed to be fixed. On arrive we were greeted to Chris Inns who promised he would get our car looked at that same day. We did get phone call later in the day from someone else saying were not going to look at today as ran out of time but we ended up getting a call from Chris and we explained we were told our car was not going to be looked at today but he went out of his way and he made sure our car got looked at which it did happen. When we turned up later in the day find out what was happening with the car Chris explained our car needed a new part installed which might take a day or 2 get in so meant we were without a car to travel home which is about 50 miles away. Which myself and partner were little unsure what we were going to do but Chris once again went out of his way to help us big time by getting us a car loan for next 2 nights so we could get home and to work. Over them 2 days Chris kept us updated on when the part was due to arrive and when our car was ready to pick up. Massive thank you to Chris for helping us out life saver and thanks to people in the garage on fixing our car so quick. Review Posted in Aug 2023 - I purchased a car from here about a month ago. Just wanted to say how pleased i am with the whole sale of my new car. I brought my car through Kieran who I have to say was an absolute pleasure dealing with as he was very polite and always made me and my wife feel at ease when talking to him and choosing our car. I recently purchased a used approved Mazda CX5 from EMG Cambridge. I have enjoyed the best sales and after sales experience in my 30 years of buying cars! Upon contacting EMG, I was put in touch with Kieran from Sales. Kieran was absolutely fantastic and patient whilst I quickly sold my car and arranged to have a test drive of the Mazda and then secured it with a holding depoit. Buying on the Internet is not so easy, however, Kieran shared detailed information about the vehicle and pictures to show condition so I knew exactly what I was getting and no surprises. Kieran was very professional and polite and not pushy at all. Kieran even called a couple of days or so after having picked the car, as he said he would to see how I was getting on - which no one bothers to do these days - I have spent much more on cars from BMW and Mercedes and never enjoyed the great experience as much as I have from EMG. Having mentioned a small issue with the car, Kieran facilitated a discussion with the Service team and the fault was rectified under warranty - without any fuss. A brilliant team at EMG - well done and keep it up!

A fantastic experience using this company. The location was easy to find and the layout made it easy to locate what we were looking for. From the moment we stepped in, everyone was really helpful, and they were not even bothered by out small children being around! We were given time to browse, but there was always someone there to ask questions. The car we intended to buy was actually at a different EMG, however we purchased one from EMG Cambridge instead due to the good quality of the car and the customer service we were given. Everything was explained clearly, we took a test drive and all the paperwork was simple. On collection, everything was straight forward and we are very happy with our new family car.

Really good experience with the team. Had the pleasure of meeting Adam Hennel about a month ago while browsing dealerships for a new car. He listened to our needs and advised us to go for a Kia Niro as opposed to a Sportage. The service team and Chris Inns in particular were very helpful as well when a replacement radar was needed. Very smooth and efficient process to get the new part ordered and fitted. To summarise: happy to recommend EMG Cambridge and doing business with them in the future 🙂

In one word, efficient. Bought my car there and just had the 1st year service done. The premises are spotless, the staff is friendly and helpful, there is a waiting area with sofa and TV to relax whilst waiting. Or if like me you are supposed to work there is a more quiet area where to seat with free WiFi.

My car broke down and I needed one quickly. I am so grateful to both Nick and Tony for the excellent customer service provided. They tried their best and successfully had the new car I picked going through the workshop so that I could drive it sooner as I needed quickly for my job. Very easy and enjoyable experience. Went into Emg Cambridge looking for a new car. Young gentleman named Kieran was very helpful and introduced us to Tom Ash. Ended up coming out having bought a new kia Niro hybrid. Having now collected the vehicle I can honestly say the whole experience was very pleasant absolutely no pressure from the first introduction too collecting the car. Dealing with Nick was hassle free from start to finish. At last a salesmen who didn't bullcrap. If he didn't have an answer he went away and found it, I also left a very expensive pair of sunglasses in the car I exchanged ..phoned him the next day when i realised and he posted them back to me as I don't live in the area for which im very thankful, the Car is everything he promised i would definitely use the garage again ..very Helpful and trustworthy. We've been using EMG for ten years now and always receive excellent friendly service. Had to get a service elsewhere during covid and it cost MUCH more! When choosing our new car we went straight to EMG because of the way they treat their customers. Absolutely fantastic service. My fan belt went when driving to Milton so I called in on the off chance that someone might be able to check and fix it. Although the servicing department was busy and fully booked for a couple of weeks, they kindly checked the car and ordered the required part, fixing it the following morning. Thank you so much to all the staff involved. Everyone I encountered was friendly, helpful and went out of their way to ensure that my planned trip could go ahead. For a large dealership I was very impressed as they provided the service usually offered by small family run concerns. Thanks again.

I'm a pensioner and I had a blow out tyre, near EMG motor group. I went into the reception and asked if they could help me. They said they only deal with there customers only. I was getting distress and Pedro and the manger offered to put a my space saver tyre on and checked for damage underneath my car. They advice me to go to Abbey tyres to have a proper new tyre on. Car drop off was easy and quick and staff kept me informed when car would be ready through the process. Received car back promptly upon completion and they discussed all work completed and any potential issues to look for down the road and provided all necessary paperwork for my peace of mind which I appreciated. Received an e-mail regarding its health check which was well explained and thankfully nothing else was required . Received a phone call as promised to say vehicle was ready for collection and when I collected it everything was ok and work carried out was explained. 2023 update: EMG is now looking after my third Mazda 6, again on a service plan. Service is still perfect, pleasure to deal with - Chris Inns in particular is very helpful. I get reminders for things that need attention, and they are never doing stuff that is not due or not necessary. One very satisfied customer. I have a couple of Mazda 6 cars from EMG, so I've been using their service team for about 12 years now. Extremely satisfied with the service every time - they do what they say, when they say, and often do more than expected. Communication is top notch, too. Oh, and the service plan is a real money saver on annual sevrices and MOT. Pleasure to deal with, highly recommended.

Always a good welcome many staff have been there for a long time so nice to know who you’re speaking to when you get there. The service guys are always very polite and helpful car is always clean when I pick it up again - good job well done. So - here we are a year on. Same review as last time - these guys are really helpful, last year I messed up my satnav; they sorted it for me in a day with no problems and were very happy to do so. Same with the service and MOT. Excellent customer service. The Service department was friendly and welcoming. I was kept informed about the progress of the work on my car. They only did the work that was necessary so that I did not incur extra charges and was given a Red, Amber, Green summary of work that had been completed, Amber advisory pointers for work that will need to be carried out within the next 12 months but not a necessity at the moment. The ‘Red’ tasks were those that needed attention urgently (replacing a bulb) or soon (tyre that is still legal but will need replacing within the next 1200-1500 miles). I recommend EMG Cambridge.

I always find my yearly visit to EMG a pleasant one, and this year's was no exception. The examination and service was explained verbally, and along with the printed work, gave me a comprehensive overview of all I needed to know. See you all in twelve months! The above review was posted two years ago and after today's visit everything still applies. I had time to discus the [maybe] purchase of a new vehicle this autumn. Took my Kia sportage into the service department for an engine light fault last week. Upon arrival I was greeted by Chris Inns in service reception. I found him very easy to talk to and he recorded my cars faults accurately, I agreed to leave the car with him for the day & he called me later that afternoon as promised, explaining a part was required to fix my car and asked did I want to leave the car overnight. I agreed to leave my car.The next day I recieved a phone call from Chris saying my car was all fixed and was ready for collection. My car had also been washed when I arrived and Chris even moved the car closer to the doors for me as it was raining. t Thank you again to Chris for his care with my vehicle and getting it fixed for me.

I.ve been using EMG Cambridge for about 25 years . I have always found the service staff polite and efficient. I phone up and book the work to be done over the phone and arrange the time to come in. There is rarely any comeback with EMG, the work is completed and I don't usually have to come back for the same problem. Usually, I book a waiting appointment, sometimes doing some shopping at the Tesco's at Milton, a walkable distance away. I do like the fact that I can book a time, some other garages have the vehicle for the whole day which can be a nuisance as I am self-employed. A good sign of EMG is that most of the service staff have worked for EMG for a long time. This adds expertise to a booking when I speak to them.

Choosing where to get a new car isn’t about the quality of the car only. It needs to include the after sale service. Chris & Pedro in EMG are always helpful since I bought my car from EMG 15 months ago. I took the car back a couple of times to ensure everything working correctly and was greeted with excellent service. Thank you!

I have had x5 services on my Kia now. Great service team, they have very flexible options you can drop off car for the day, wait 1-2h or get them to collect/drop the car... avaliablity may differ. Usually need to book 2-4 weeks in advance. You also get an electronic copy of you Service report sent to the email automatically. I prefer the wait 1-2h, can browse the showroom and use the waiting area WiFi. As a bonus they usually clean the car, inside and out! The only down side is lack of courtesy car since covid hit which made my availability tricky a few times. Depends on your circumstances. I will still give 5 stars!

Have consistently used EMG over the last twenty years since moving to Cambridge in 2001. I've used EMG for the servicing & MOT of my first Ford Fiesta and now a second one too! We also bought a Ford Cmax from EMG and also used EMG for that. So as a regular customer for MOTs, servicing and occasional repairs, I can confirm that I've been consistently happy with their communication & high standard of work. (Haven't noticed anyone else complain either!)

If you ever want to buy a car then Thomas Ash is the person you should go to. Thomas is very professional and really knows his stuff. You do not feel rushed to ask all your questions. I’ve been buying cars from EMG for many years and even taking cars to EMG for service that weren’t bought there.. why? Because the service is perfect, which means ‘effortless’. I don’t think I’m allowed to put names into this review (??) but ‘CI’ in Servicing is a real star at EMG and typical of people who go ‘the extra mile’ to meet my individual needs…. Unlike that other big vehicle supplier and servicer in Cambridge mentioning no names!! ;-)

I went to EMG Cambridge for my service. Friendly and polite staff, guided to the waiting area (spotless). Service was completed quickly. The bill was explained , no hidden extras. I was offered a free breakdown service cover for a year. My car is a Ford and they do this as part of the service they offer. My car will be going back next year for another service and continue the breakdown cover as well.Could not fault the people on the service desk.

I have been having my cars serviced every year at EMG Cambridge since 2000 and have always had a fantastic friendly and efficient service. I bought my last car from EMG and even was able to purchase three year service and MOT plans which worked out quite cheap compared to paying a service without a plan. I would highly recommend this garage. It’s just a shame I now live in the Southwest and have to find someone else to service my car. The yearly chats and catch-ups will be missed. All the best to the team. It was nice popping in every year.

I had my car serviced and MOT’d this morning. Phil picked my car up this morning and will deliver it back later. I had an email with a link to my car’s health check, where I could see anything of issue (fortunately none). I have just had a call to say all was ok and the MOT had passed. Yes it is a bit more expensive than using a local garage, but for all this by a Mazda dealer I feel it is worth it. Well done EMG

I purchased my previous car, a C max, from EMG Cambridge some 15 years ago. They looked after it very well – so well that it clocked up over 275,000 miles. In addition to the mechanical work, I always found the service desk to be friendly and helpful – I work particularly with Chris Inns, but all the team were very helpful. Of course they are not the cheapest, but I believe they gave me very good value.

Just had the first service on my third Kia from EMG Cambridge. Never had a major problem with all three Kia models I've had, they're super reliable and a great spec for the money compared to other makes. Chris Inns was as helpful as ever and I'd definitely recommend a service plan as it just makes things so much easier. My wife and daughter have also purchased cars here and have been equally happy.

I've recently had an amazing experience with EMG. I took our cars for MOT in the last 2weeks. On the first occasion the car needed some parts to be ordered&replaced so it had to stay with the service for the rest of the day. I've got 2 little children (3y &1y) and I was hoping to driver there and come home straight after the car would have passed MOT. However, in this case it turned out differently. EMG was so nice to me that while we have been waiting for the part to arrive they gave us a lift home. To me personally it was a really big help due to my little ones. After I have swapped the cars and went to collect the second one after it has also passed MOT as I couldn't drive both cars home at the same time and I was on my own the EMG's highly qualified driver drove the car home for me. Thank you again! EMG has done all this without expecting anything in return. I have to say I was massively helped out by all members of the service team and I can't thank them enough. Although, I can very much recommend them 👌 their customer service deserves a big clap 👏 as they are friendly, customer focused team running a top10 service tailored to your needs. I have been bringing my car to EMG for years, most recently on Monday, and Chris Inns and Pedro Gomes are always really helpful! On Monday I left my car with Chris, and he made sure to keep me updated throughout the day which was definitely reassuring! Then when I came to collect my car I was helped by Pedro, who talked me through the service report and made sure I was happy with everything before I left - brilliant service from both of them!

My Kia Sorento developed a fault with the engine management system on the way to Cambridge causing it to go into limp home mode. I drove it straight to the garage to see what they could do, spoke with Pedro on the service team and explained the issue. He went above and beyond to help me out, and managed to source a loan car even though they were extremely busy. I did expect a long lead time on the repair however he managed to get the repair complete within a day. Im very happy with the customer service here, and would highly recommend Pedro as a very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful staff member. Thank you Kia

Visited the showroom today to ascertain options towards the end of my current CX-3 PCP. Thomas Ash (my sales exec) was outstanding in his professionalism and creativity to ensure that all options were covered and I genuinely felt that he was working hard to ensure a potential new purchase (MX30) was achievable. The servicing has mostly been OK, but with one major exception. The Kia EV6 has a common known fault with the paint on the edges of the door handles being scratched when retracting into their receptacles. The rear door handles have the most damage and are very rarely used, although they present themselves when the car is unlocked and retract when the the car is locked. At first EMG said it was due to rings on my fingers but I don't wear any. Then they agreed to take photos and send them to Kia. Other dealers have had authorisation from Kia to replace other owners' car handles under warranty, but EMG told me Kia refused to replace the damage handles on my car.

Very good service. Very happy with the car I bought. There was a small discrepancy between car description and log book (number of registered owners), but that was not much of an issue for me. Tom Lambert was very helpful throughout the whole process from first contact and even after car purchase, when I had some queries about the car. The process was more smooth than I have expected.

I bought a 2019 Mazda from EMG Cambridge last month. Tom Lambert was the sales person who talked me through all of the specifics regarding the car. I was given plenty of time to come to a decision and must say the after sales service is exceptional. After I purchased the car I noticed a couple of dents in the roof of the car and initially was angry that I missed this on viewing the car. But I need not have worried. Tom Lambert dealt with everything for me. He organised a day for me to bring the car in to the workshop, reassured me everything would be sorted to my satisfaction. Even though I still had doubts, Tom kept his word. The dents were repaired as good as new. There is no sign of the dents and the car is like new. The after sales service was so good that I'm even thinking about putting my regular service and MOT with EMG Cambridge. Well done Tom and thanks again.

Sales staff were brilliant and kept distance with masks and all handover done outside. Although the Mazda 6 is 7 yr old it was well prepared and is a great car. Daughter is over the moon ! I had an appointment at EMG Motor Group Mazda Cambridge on Saturday with Tom Lambert. I was invited as there was a Save and Upgrade Event. I was not really sure what I was looking for but have used EMG for many years and had brought my previous car from them. I had a chat with Tom about part exchanging my car and he went to have a look at my car as I wandered round the forecourt to see if there was anything I liked. I found a few Kia that I liked and then found my Mini. Not what I was looking for but thought I'd see what deal Tom would offer. Tom went through everything thoroughly and we went for a test drive. No pressure, just a very polite young man that answered all my questions and listened to what I wanted. Was happy to check any queries with his manager, went through various financial packages with various options. So no surprise that I bought the Mini. When I collected it on the Monday he had the car and all the paperwork ready for me making the process go very smoothly. It was actually my birthday and he had put Happy Birthday balloons in the car and a box of chocolates which I thought was a lovely gesture. Tom was not pushy and as a single lady sometimes buying a car is a bit daunting. He was really helpful and it was a pleasure buying the car from him. I found my new car on another website and rang the team at EMG. The phone was answered promptly, they got me booked in for a test drive no worries and were really helpful on what to expect on a social distanced test drive. From arriving to do the test drive to leaving, Jay was amazing. He was friendly, professional and didn't push. He let us check the car out, then took me for a spin. He knew we were checking out other cars so didn't do a pushy close which we experienced at some other garages. This all added up to a positive experience which had me going back the next day after a terrible test drive else where asking to buy the car. Jay was there on his day off, but he didn't mind. He took me out for another spin to check and then took me through the process to buy it. I've never been so happy or impressed with the service provided. I left feeling ecstatic with my purchase and comfortable with the whole experience. Although they're not my most local garage, I will be going back in the future should I decide to change car again.

EMG Kia in Cambridge seemed to have the best range of Kia Sportage cars on the website so we went there. Unfortunately the website had not been updated and therefore inaccurate regarding mileage etc on the models but our customer sales assistant Jay James was able to identify a model at a price which was acceptable to us and organised for it to be brought from another branch. It was just what we were looking for and after a test drive we went ahead with the purchase. Jay was very professional but with a friendly pleasant manner and gave us space to think and decide.

I've been a customer for 15 years and I was booked for an annual service yesterday; dropping the car off around 09:00. On the way to Cambridge I had a complete electrical failure and had to be recovered by Green Flag from a dual carriageway with my car not reaching EMG until 11:00. By 17:00 the EMG team had installed a new battery and alternator, serviced the car as planned and washed it; allowing me to drive home in a fully working car. That was spectacularly efficient and turned around a nightmare morning so well that it felt surreal! I inquired for a test drive on a Monday and the lovely David got back to me Tuesday morning, to have one that day. As soon as I arrived I felt welcome. David was a star. He was helpful, informative, honest and most importantly not pushy! He was willing to fish out/give me any information I asked for. I registered my interest in the purchase of a KIA E-NIRO after a test drive with Andrew Hills. Due to the popularity of the vehicle, there was a very long waiting list in the confirmation of Order, and estimated delivery time. We purchased a second hand Ford Kuga from here for our growing family. The vehicle was in excellent condition and priced competitively, they also gave a decent trade in value for our previous vehicle. Tony Treacy was excellent and a real asset to the company. He listened to our needs and made us feel valued and although he mentioned options such as GAP insurance etc, he did not to and push them down our throats. On the day of collection we dealt with David Wincote who was equally a pleasure to deal with and made the collection a seamless process. This is our first experience of buying second-hand from a main dealer, and wasn't at all sure what to expect. It was a great afternoon, Tom knew we were on our way, but we arrived earlier than expected. We'd put a holding deposit on a car, purely because of the distance we had to travel. Not knowing Cambridge and the car only having 2 seats, Tom got to go on 2 test drives. We had all the documents with us to part exchange the car we had arrived in and we were able to take our new (to us) car home that afternoon. Tom was really helpful, coffees a plenty as the paperwork was a bit time consuming. I purchased a used Ford in December 2019. Tom Lambert helped me with my purchase. From the start he was very friendly and helpful with no pressure. He took me for a test drive and let me take my time looking over the car and answered any of my concerns. The parcel shelf was broken and he made arrangements for a replacement without any fuss. Tom also help with my part exchange which I was happy with the price they gave me. A week or so after the purchase Tom made a follow up call to me to check everything was ok with the car and if I needed any further assistance. Visited Kia on two separate occasions very interested in purchasing a vehicle. Each time we had a friendly sales person that showed us around relevant vehicles and discussed purchase options etc. Unfortunately, did not receive a follow up the first time, and had one several days after the second. Decided not to purchase the car based on comparison to the other one and being pressed for time, but would have welcomed a bit more attention. Can't comment about going further with a purchase or the after care with Kia.

Never purchased a Mazda before but a flawless experience so far. I enquired about a car very late on 23 Dec and got to a receptionist who said my interest would be passed on to Cambridge Sales. To my surprise, Tom phoned me within 2 minutes to arrange a viewing next day (24 Dec). He was very helpful and professional throughout and the deal was done. I feel confident already that I will get good service going forwards.

We were very reluctant of using EMG Cambridge again after the last two experiences we have had with them for various reasons. However we see a car we feel in love with on the website and after visiting we felt it would be a crime to leave it on the forecourt. A very pleasant young man come strolling outside to see if we needed any help, nothing is normally worse than a sales man walking over to you rubbing their hands together with pound signs flashing in their eyes but all we got was fantastic service and honesty from the word Go! I could go on and on but if you use these guys you want to be dealing with Jay James!! He was absolutely fantastic and went above and beyond. We couldn’t be happier. Massive Thank you from us.

Had a fantastic experience with EMG Mazda Cambridge. Just got my brand new Mazda CX-5 today and its lovely! Superb car! Lovely dealership to go to. I went in looking to buy a Mazda MX5 and the salesman couldn't have been more helpful and informative. David Wincote took me out for my test drive and he made me feel at ease. (I get nervous driving with a stranger.) He answered all my questions and queries and sent me updates on the car during the week while the car was being "made ready" for me. I even got a cup of tea!! Quite a cheeky chappie but made the whole experience enjoyable.

Hi ! I have recently purchased a Ford Kuga from the Cambridge dealership with the help and amaizing support of David- the salesman that was actually on his first day dealing with customers. I was extremely impressed by the polite and friendly approach, i have asked a lot of questions to whom he aswered very detailed, also he went beyond expentacies with friendliness and customer approach. We came accompanied with two other friends just to look around for a car, but the moment we were approaced by David we took the decission of actually taking that car ( our friends will most likely return to him). We recently bought a Mazda CX-5 from EMG. We really couldn't fault Andrew and the team. They were incredibly attentive and polite. They even thought of keeping our kids entertained while we discussed cars. They were flexible and accommodating with our test drive. Most importantly we never felt rushed or pushed - which had driven us out of many other garages before. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. I can honestly recommend coming to speak to the team. There is a good chance you will find yourself pleased by the customer service and the cars. The bouquet of flowers (given to me when we came to collect the car) was such a lovely touch too!

From the moment I called I was treated well and made to feel important. Tom Lambert's customer service was on point and direct getting exactly to the heart of what I wanted and I felt he was always helping me to get it. When I First arrived I was invited in offered Tea and Coffee and was given the run down on the car I came to view. Tom was honest, considerate and informative. On the Test drive he gave me a great run down of all the features, knew what each dial and button did and could tell me how it all worked, I felt reassured and we'll informed. When it came to buying the car he informed me of all the possible extras but wasn't pushy in his delivery. A couple days lately there was a reassuring follow-up to check the car was operating properly and that everything was going smoothly. All in all I had a great experience and feel comfortable in my investment. if the time arose again I would be back to buy my next car. 10/10

Tom Lambert what a star (no super star) this was the easiest transition I have ever had in changing a car the Mazda cx5 2017 plate is superb every thing tom said he would do has been done the service department did not service the car due to the mileage being close to the next due service so this is being carried out F O C in December with pick up and delivery back to myself. Would not hesitate to recommend my next change will be at EMG well done to every one concerned thank you.PS the part x of my Kia was so good I even came away on the positive side you cant say that about every garage THANKS AGAIN

Me and my Wife came along one Saturday and we were looking around the forecourt, we were approached to see if we needed any info with any of the cars. We asked for a test drive but the man had some pre arranged meetings so we were asked to hang around or come back in an hour to see Jay and he'll take us out. Jay seemed to know a lot about the car but was very helpful to assist on the little things. The SD card was missing for the Sat Nav but he was very apologetic and got one sent out to me within 10 days. Jay was very professional and confident for a young salesman and I would recommend him personally any day of the week.

Great experience buying a used car from EMG Cambridge. Sales person Jay was polite, helpful and knowledgeable. A couple of minor issues with the car after collection were resolved without any question. I last visited EMG about 10 years ago and had a very poor experience - I'm pleased to say that this garage seems to have been completely turned around and EMG will definitely be on my list of places to look next time.

Just recently purchased a new Kia Sorento KX-3 at EMG CAMBRIDGE with Sales Executive Aran Noble who was extremely helpful with a vast knowledge of the vehicle, explaining a multitude of the new technology which in our day & age is Very Very advanced. All relevant paperwork was explained and simplified to us to our delight. No qualms at all in recommending the EMG kia dealers in Cambridge. After a couple of weekends visiting various dealerships we found them the most helpful. We don't know if we got the best deal available, but came away happy with the deal we had for our nearly new Kia Stonic. We dealt with the salesman Tom Lambert who we found very knowledgeable regarding the vehicle and able to answer any queries we had without being to condescending. He lead us through the process of picking up the car smoothly and followed up on the sale to make sure we were satisfied and happy once the vehicle was driven off the forecourt. Sometime in the future we will want to upgrade and will defiantly be going to EMG Kia.

I've been shopping around for a few weeks for a used car with no luck and plenty of terrible experiences along the way. Trust me, I'd been to loads of places. Then I discovered EMG Cambridge. What a breath of fresh air compared to ALL the others I've visited. I saw a car online, booked an appointment with Tom Lambert for the next day and found the whole experience from meet and greet through to the purchase of the car an absolute pleasure. Tom is patient, helpful, knowledgeable and is a nice guy who is approachable. Not pushy, arrogant or trying to be a Billy big nuts like so many salesmen I've encountered before. I was served by Tom Lambert, not your 'typical' salesman, knowledgeable, friendly and not pushy. The authorisation processes for Tom to go through for PCP/HP rates/car trade in was drawn out and due to the manager approval and sign off, not Tom. Tom really did do everything in his power to make the process of buying a car much easier and I would go back to him.

Recently brought a car from Kia Cambridge and was very impressed with the overall process. I am from Kent which meant that the majority of the dealings were completed over the phone and I must say that Tom Lambert made it very easy for me. The car we brought was very well priced so we are very pleased. The were a couple of very minor issues with the vehicle, like some small marks on the leather but Tom made sure that these were dealt with prior to purchase. I would recommend this dealership.

Great dealership. I have my Mazda 6 serviced and maintained here. The service and technician teams are friendly, helpful, professional and most importantly honest. They don't try to sell work that isn't needed. I am always happy to travel the 1-hour drive to be looked after by trustworthy people with a high standard of work and ethics. I've always been very well looked after and will continue being a customer here. I hope this helps other people decide if this dealership is good, they are highly recommended by myself based on my experience with them.

Had a fantastic experience with EMG Motor Group in Cambridge. I travelled over 200 miles to see the car. I was greeted by friendly staff and they introduced me to the sales executive Darren Cole who was dealing with my purchase. Darren Cole was very Polite Welcoming and Professional . I told Darren Cole that I have already looked at the car and was happy with the looks and condition of the car and do not want to test drive the car that I just wanted to complete the sale. Any other dealership would have just took my money give me the car keys and sent me on my way. This is not what EMG Motors do. Darren talked me through the history of the car and advised me that it would be best that I took the car for a test drive as I might not like the way the car drives and that he would not want me to buy a car and then on driving the car home regret buying the car. At no time was I pressurised to buy the car and I was told that after the test drive if I did not like the way the car drives I do not have to buy the car. The after sales of the car is second to none. I have bought many cars from other dealers and after buying the car when something went wrong the dealer would just say what do you expect with a used car. This is not the case with EMG in Cambridge as I had an issue with the car I bought from them and it was rectified within a couple of days. I would like to THANK Darren Cole. Tony and the management team for all their help and support. I would recommend anyone to buy a car from this dealership they are one of the most Honest, Professional, Polite, Welcoming, Helpful, None pushy Car dealerships I have ever dealt with in the 40 years of motoring. I had a good experience with my service advisor, but one star is because of the following reason. I noticed a weird noise coming from my rear LH door while locking and unlocking, so I told them to check. Service advisor told me his technician checked the problem and they need to get warranty authorisation to replace the defective part. Its a quite long process so he advised to take the car and after approval and parts availability I will drop the car. After two days I got a call from the service advisor saying my warranty claim was rejected, I asked what was the reason for rejection but he was not sure and then I spoke with Mazda warranty department to knwo the reason. Mazda warranty department told me from the service they mentioned the lock is defective and a mechanical failure,therefore mazda cannot cover this under mechanical failure but they can only carry on ver this under electric failure. I explained the mazda warranty that the noise is definitely from the electric motor and not the mechanical lock, a we can clearly hear a buzzing or motor winding noise... He said he can't do anything but I have to speak with Service center to send a new warranty request stating the proper reason. I called back EMG and explained all this and they agreed to Re submit the claim explaining the problem properly as explained by Mazda. Again, I got a call saying my claim was rejected, thus time I asked could you read the request you made, The technician created request stating as per customer request it is a electric failure. That made me furious! They are not even able to find the exact problem, instead they raised a request describing in a wrong way and on top of that when I contacted the manager he can't even explain or understand what's the actual problem... He started asking me from which dealership I bought the car, I told it was from Manchester but I live in Cambridge. Then he said he can't to any goodwill.... I told him, I never asked for a good will and I no need goodwill when I have a warranty. All I want is ask you technician and submut a proper warranty request. Becuase of your poor technician or whoever the Incharge I am loosing my warranty claim. I drive more 30k every year so I will visit your service center twice a year... Now definitely I will not come to your service centre in spite of friendly service by the service advisor Mr Pedro. I am not losing anything but your dealership missed a potential profit. You might think losing one customer doesn't make a big difference on your profit, but please keep in mind rain drops makes Ocean. Update 28/11/18 - Thanks to the General Manager Mr Don, he spoke to me and explained the cause of the problem. Honestly, his call made me feel better and cared, though they could not help much on the issue, but still I am OK just because he took his time to respond my request. I would definitely visit EMG because of people like Mr. Don who cares for their customer and serious about their business. Updated my rating from one start to three star.

UPDATE January 2020: Hi guys, yet another great service received. Thank you. Hopefully, I’m not jumping the gun here, but I would like to let everyone know, that EMG are very disabled and elderly friendly, and seem to appreciate the difficulties presented to those who have to endure the problems of old age, or physical restrictions’. I shall most certainly speak to Mcmillan’s about my own experiences with this company. It’s not very nice to have to declare one’s own vulnerability, but if you’re in a position where mobility presents certain difficulties, it’s sometimes necessary to ask for help. The staff at EMG were absolutely marvellous, responsive, sympathetic and helpful in every possible way. I am most certainly grateful to them all, for their kindness. ________________________________________________________________________ It’s difficult to believe that I’m writing such an article as this, claiming to have found a garage that has actually adopted, ‘old fashioned values’. You know what I mean, customers matter, whereby, not only will people spend their hard earned cash with us, but will continue to maintain any future patronage by treating folk as human beings. Wow! And so it was, my wife and I experienced a first class service at EMG, not just by the nice salesman who dealt with us, but by many of the other staff, which was so refreshing, albeit, unusual and may I add that in this day and age, almost alien! One thing that always annoys me when exchanging vehicles is, you are only quoted the (near) book value, which incidentally, means that estimates will be conveniently reduced, through one reason or another, and after the wool has been truly pulled over one’s eyes, it’s found that one is left with almost nothing, no matter how well one has tried to look after their four wheeled child. Actually, although this maybe company policy, what is really being ambiguously stated is, that personnel cannot be trusted, nor are competent, to offer an honest price for an exchange. So, I was quite astonished when I was given a more-than-a-fair price for my car, because I truly expected something in the region of pennies as opposed to what one hoped for, a reasonable offer. EMG cannot be praised enough for their hard working staff, who are very helpful, friendly and constantly display a cheerful disposition. To add credence to my claim about this company, my daughter when put out, can only be described as the reinvasion of the Vikings! However, she has purchased two cars from EMG, and has only praise for the services provided. So there! I’ll add an update after using my new member to the family.

I spoke to Tom and I've visited him twice so far to talk about the Mazda MX5 . He was really kind and approachable. Super knowledgeable about the car itself and convinced me to set my sights lower and get the smaller engine. He didn't pressure me into buying anything, simply gave me a quote and even offered to test drive to a safe place before getting me in the seat. Highly recommended!

Was despartely trying to sort out my son's Kia Picanto under the warranty so he could get away for a few days holiday - all our local dealerships wouln't/couldn't help - spoke to Carl at EMG Kia and he couldn't have been more helpful. Got the car in for diagnostics on Tuesday and ordered parts in for fitting on Thursday (he even phoned on Wednesday to confirm right parts had arrived in!). All sorted and son now away for a few days well deserved break in Lake District. Well done to Carl and EMG - especially the can do attitude that makes such a difference...we run a small fleet and I know where our next Kia will be bought!

Having seen several poor reviews for EMG, I wasn't sure what type of experience I would get taking back my Kia to have the keys replaced under warentee. I was pleasantly surprised. No squabble - booked me in for 2 replacement keys and returned my car in a couple of hours having given it a wash as well. That's good service.
